This weekend was the first time Steven and I got to go out on a hot date. So I curled my hair, tossed on a lil black dress, and actually put make up on! Steven's work is celebrating Masimo's 25th anniversary this year and are moving to a new building so the owners threw a black tie affair to celebrate. There was a red carpet, ice sculptures, a sushi chef flown in, a concert, all sorts of appetizers, open bar, delicious desserts, and flower arrangements everywhere. The mayor of Irvine, a congressman and the founders all spoke on behalf of the company. It was quite the party! While we were out past our 9:00 bed time, Addie got to spend some time with Gramma Marpert in her first night without Mommy. She didn't put up too much of a fight at bedtime and Gramma loved it none the less. Thanks again for watching Addie!!!
Addie has recently discovered how funny it is to watch the dogs play. She especially loves watching Midnight. Every time he play growls she cracks up (see video post: Addie watches dogs play).
It looks like it's official now, Kevin and Cheryl are moving up to Fresno, CA. Cheryl works at a summer camp up there and Kevin is trying to get hired by the FAA. This makes it a real busy weekend for him. Good luck up there, we'll miss you
