8 Months!

Addie is 8 months old already!  She's about 22 pounds, and has 2 bottom teeth.  She's starting to get into everything: power chords, anything under the couch and crumbs on the floor.  She sits and lunges forward into a crawl position and then rolls around everywhere.  She gets around anywhere she wants to go, just doesn't crawl forward.  She can stand but doesn't walk forward yet.   She drinks only from a sippy cup and enjoys feeding herself.  She loves to eat anything except sometimes avacado.  She makes BAAABAA sounds and beatboxes with her mouth.  She's also getting a mowhawk and hair growing over her ears!

Mommy's Day off & Eric's Birthday

I had a day off today so we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Slept in till 7:30, took a walk with Martha & Jane (we saw goats on the hillside behind our house!), then went to Big Air Trampoline Park.  Addie liked jumping with mommy and watching everyone.  Also, it's Uncle Eric's Birthday today!!  Happy 24th Birthday! Bummer we can't celebrate with you cuz you're in Germany!  Hope you're having a wonderful time out there & we miss you!

First tooth day!

It has arrived! Addie's first tooth! For the past two nights, Addie has been making us ask each other, "What is up with her! She's crazy!!" She wouldn't take a binky, just wanted to nurse. She wouldn't let daddy put her back to bed. Just plain fiesty at night.

Touched her gums today when I got back from work and she's got a lil dagger poking out. Tried to take a picture but can't see it quite yet. Here's some cute pictures I got though. ..

LA County Fair

We had a blast at the LA County Fair today and then enjoyed spending some long over due time with Laura, Erick, Gracie & Josh. Great family time!!!

My lil chunky monkey

A Chunky Monkey was a delicious smoothie only made at Jamba Juice. It's a smoothie made of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate....mmmmmm too bad I can't have peanut butter.....

Lately Addie is developing so quickly.  Some good, some bad. She pinches everyone, so hard we all have bruises (seriously).  She rocks on all fours and goes from sitting, to leaning/rocking on all fours, to crawling position, then rolls in all directions, to get whatever she wants. The dogs are on high alert, cuz now she can sneak up on them. She also does full belly laughs without her hand in her mouth which is by far the cutest thing you've seen. And she had her first bout of constipation.
