This past weekend we went to Sea World and then meet up with Seth and Marie for some cousin play. Sam taught Addie how to ride in the power wheel with his arm around her while Malia drove. Addie was literally afraid of Shamu during the show. Don't be confused, Addie loved sharks, ones that were off the end of our boat in Belize and ones in the shark encounter. ...but she's afraid of an orca?...I guess she must have seen Black Fish.
Grandma came down on Sunday for some good ole pot roast and some hugs from Addie.
We just got back from Belize last night after extending our vacation by a day. We had a wonderful time cruzing around town in golf cart, playing in the pools, and walking on the white sand beaches. We enjoyed hanging on the catamaran and swimming with sharks(& lots of them!), manta rays, big sea turtles, and lots of fish on our snorkeling adventure in Hol Chan Reef and Shark Ray Alley. During nap time I even got an hr massage (heaven!) and Steven got to go kayak out to the reef. After missing our connecting flight out of Houston due to a delay out of LAX we had to spend the night in Houston and fly down to Belize in the morning Tuesday. After that, we decided to stay for an extra day in Belize so we didn't miss out on any days in Belize. It actually worked out better since we got to fly into Ontario instead of LAX (even though we had ANOTHER delay coming home out of Houston, ugh). Despite the flight issues Belize was a beautiful place with nice locals who LOVED Addie.
Wait a minute! This isn't Belize!
