Camping weekened

We needed a nice relaxing beach vacation! To San Clemente State Beach we went for a one night stay. We soaked up some beach views and the sound of crashing waves in-between chasing Addie around.  Grandma and Grandpa Egge came down and our neighbor friends Jane,  Bo and Milana joined us. We cooked chicken in the fire and roasted marshmallows at night by the campfire. The two girls enjoyed their wagon rides around the campground. Addie was very persistent saying,  "more more!!!"

Swim in February

What happened to El Nino? No one knows but it was 90+ degrees earlier this week so we went swimming! OK so what if it poured the next 2 days....

Addison's 2 year check up

Addie went to the doctor today for her 2 year check up. She didn't cry and let the doc check her out. A far cry from the crying that happened last time!! So nice!

Then right after mommy had her 28 week check up.  Welcome to the 3rd trimester!

Addison's 2nd Birthday

Addison celebrated her birthday for about 2 weeks straight...a week for every year! She enjoyed it so much that she regularly sings herself the Happy Birthday song, "Haaaappy Haaaappy Haaaaappy."

We had a neighborhood friends get together the Thursday before her birthday. All the friends came over and played in the backyard and we had cupcakes and presents.  Over the weekend we went to Mideaval Times to celebrate. Addie got to eat chicken and watch all the horses.  She enjoyed it so much. Then the following Saturday, we met up Uncle Tom and Aunt Patti, Stephen and Matthew at Knotts Berry Farm for some rides and presents.  Finally, her last celebration was with the Egge cousins, Nana, Auntie Hilary and Jordan. We watched  Superbowl 50, smoked up some ribs and had lots of great appetizers. Oh yes, and I almost forgot, cupcakes and presents during halftime.  Broncos beat the Panthers.
