Uncle Eric Visits

My little brother, Eric, came to visit, along with Andrea. Hilary also made the trip to hang out.  It was so nice to see them.  It's been at least a year and a half since they left for Germany. Eric is finishing up his Masters degree and Andrea is a freelance English teacher. It was the first time they met Andrew and probably the first time Addie really had fun playing with them.  At first Addie was shy but the second they brushed her ponies hair and colored with her,  they were best friends. Or, it might have been the Überraschun...(surprise chocolate Egg). Addie was attached to Eric today, holding his hand through Costco, she made him tuck her in at nap time and cried when he was gone surfing when she woke up. It was so nice to spend the past 2 days with Eric, we miss having him in SD!! We love you two!

Back to work

Today was my first day back to work after having Andrew. All the kids are thankful I am back,  actually beyond thrilled. One of my fellow teachers said she knew I was back because she heard students talking about how excited they were to see me. It's good to be loved.

My kids had a good time with Trang. Andrew only got mad for the time it took to heat up his milk.  Guzzled it, then slept till I got there. Addie understands that I went to work, but doesn't understand why she can't go with me.  She's afraid to go to sleep now because I'm not going to be there when she wakes up :( I guess I'll have to say bye to her tomorrow morning :/ Way to lay it on thick Addie!

We snuck in a park play then Disney afternoon yesterday with Amber +kids,  and Ritu+ Ruby.

Andrew 6 months

 Andrew's 6th month brought on many firsts. He went on his first vacation to Kauai, first Halloween, first sickness,  first helmet, first lunges into crawling and first food. He loves to catch people looking at him and give them a toothless grin.  No stranger danger here, the little old ladies are suckers for him.  His best friends are Roman, Josh, Nikolas, James and Thomas. He weighs 19 lbs and is in 12mo clothes.
