Andrew's First Haircut

Andrew had a mullet...party in the back and fro in the front...it was getting too much  so it had to go.  Sorry bud.  Don't worry ladies, his hair is still sticking straight up in all directions, just a bit shorter with questionable evenness thanks to yours truly.

Andrew's 1st Birthday Party Family Style

We really are blessed with the best family! The Marpert's, Cassidy's, Charleston's, Clark and Egge's all celebrated our little Andrew. Great Grandma Charleston and the Cassidy Family  even came down to celebrate.  We are truly blessed by how much people love our kiddos.  It was a beautiful 75degree day so we spend most of the time outdoors jumping in the jumper, smashing water balloons and playing hide and go seek.  We sang "Happy Birthday" complete with "smash cake" and cupcakes. Great Grandma Charleston painted the kiddo's faces and Addie found her coloring buddy for life. Amid the great party Andrew really enjoyed climbing the stairs and playing in the dog's water.  He had a great time but come piñata time, he just wanted to nap.  The students from my class made the awesome "Very Hungry Caterpillar" piñata which has probably been the best made of all the piñata (it was hard to break)!
