Addison has really been into watching videos on how to bake. She tells me, "Momma you can't fill it all the way up in the pan or it overflows." I'm putting her practical knowledge to work. She made this cake from start to finish all on her own. She matched up the 1 cup with "1 cup" on the measuring cup for water, the 1/2 cup with "1/2 cup" of oil, punched in 350 in the oven, stirred it all together and even frosted it herself. I did put it in and out of the oven though! It was quite the learning experience in frosting and how to be gentle and wait until it is cool!
I took the kids for a Mommy and kids Disney Day on Tuesday. We got there before it was open, jumped on the 3D Toy Story Mania, rode Ariel 3x in a row (without having to get off...Andrew kept yelling AAAGGGAIIN!), Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and roamed around some of the shops. We met Mater and Lightning McQueen Andrew's new obsession. They were a bit camera shy but Andrew couldn't stop yelling, "QQQUUUUEEEN!" or "MaDar". It was fun just doing whatever they wanted to do.
Oh and then Addie got a train stuck in her hair, because, "I just wanted to put it in my hair."
