Daycation San Diego Zoo & Downtown

Us girls were still gallivanting around Southern California on days 6-8 of Grandma's Daycation extravaganza.  On Friday we went to the San Diego Zoo with Grandma, Hilary and Jordan.  The zoo was gorgeous.  Some of the highlights were the polar bears, koala bears, panda bears, & really just about any bear...also there were 2 baby giraffes, one 4 days old and one 5 months old.

It's not the color of their fur that tells you if a bear is a black or brown bear, just remember this:

"If you climb up a tree and a bear climbs up the tree and eats you... it was a black bear

If you climb up a tree and a bear nocks the tree down first, then eats you... it was a brown bear"  Apparently brown bears HATE to climb trees.
