Andrew, just like Addison, was born right on his due date, May 10, 2016. I was having contractions every night for about a week but this time they didn't go away last night. At around 5 minutes apart 11pm I told Steven I had to call my doc & Doctor said, Head on over to the hospital! By the time I got to the hospital they were about 3 minutes about and PAINFUL! and I was only 1cm. Story of my life :( The nurse told me she would let me walk around for an hour and see if things progressed. I got to know the walls of the maternity ward really well! Luckly, I was 3cm after that and she got me a room. I got an epidural, took a nap and woke up to 10cm....AWESOME! I knew Andrew was right there and told my doctor I would not push until he got there this time ..he wanted me to do a practice push while he got there ...NO NO NO I faked it :) When he got there I told him that and we laughed about it when 3 contractions later Andrew was here. Such a great labor compared to Addison :)
Welcome Andrew! My babies like to be born the morning of their due date! Which means no sleeping for Momma! Way to go kids!
