Addison's 3rd Birthday

Today Addison turns 3 years old! She is such a joy and we love her more than she'll ever know.  She is full of sweetness and full of opinions.  She loves to color, her brother Andrew, choose her own outfit (usually a dress), stomp around in Mommy's high heels, Minnie Mouse, Ariel, color, paint, play with her friends, go to the park, oh did I say color? Yeah, she LOVES to color and make you color with her.  The second you lift your crayon off the paper, "Momma color Mooooore!" "Wait....you stopped coloring Adddie, why do I have to keep coloring?"  "Momma COLOR!!"  She's a dictator.  She sleeps with everything imaginable, 2 bunnies (she found the second one, I bought to wash the first one!), Doggie, Baby, More baby, Mermaid, Minnie, More Minnie, and anything else she is in love with at the time. She loves her Daddy sooo much, if he's home he's got to do it all, put her night night, wipe her hiney, get her water...etc.  She has almost a ridiculous amount of  friends: neighborhood friends, Lucas, Milana, Jake, Sophia, Illyana, Alyssandra,  Park Play Date friends: Brooke, Alexa, Emily, Ballet: Harleigh, Disney: Olivia.   And her "BEST FRIEND BIG GIRL COUSINS (as she calls them) Grace, Amelia and Josh, and Roman. She is so sweet, every time we hang out with the cousins, she cries because she doesn't want to leave them. She is a solid 5T in clothes, 39"tall, and 38lbs, size 10 in shoes (still! A miracle!)

For Addie's birthday we celebrated at that park the last Saturday because that is her favorite thing to do.  How do I know? I ask her, "What do you want to do?"  Addie's response every single time is: "Play at the park!!! All her friends came out to play at Oak Creek Community Park in Irvine.  We had a Mermaid theme, they made their own "pearl bracelets", became mermaids and sharks in a cut out, dug for buried treasure, beat up a piñata, ate pizza, and cupcakes.  It was really nice and everyone got to hang out and enjoy the sunshine after a week long of rain.  Whew! It didn't rain and was a lovely 75 degrees and sunny!

Luckily, we already celebrated because late last night Addie came in shivering with a fever! She slept on the floor next to my bed! BLEH looks like Andrew shared his runny nose and low grade fever with her.  Pretty much Addie's real birthday entailed her sleeping the day away fighting off a cold :( Poor kiddo!
