Christmas 2017

Christmas was a huge hit in our house.  Addison sang in front of the whole church with her cousins, singing Happy Birthday Jesus.  Read the story of Christmas with Gracie. Opened presents with Grandma, Grandpa and the whole cousin crew.  Grandma made a delicious breakfast.  After a quick nap in the car we went up to Laura's house to celebrate with the Castillos  with dinner and lots of playing with Grace and Josh.  Addison chatted our ear off the entire ride home in order to set up milk and cookie for Santa. 

Christmas morning Andrew woke up at 5:00am....grrr Andrew! He watched almost a full movie of Moana (the only thing he will watch for more than 10 minutes) before we gave up and let him go wake up his sister so he wouldn't mess up what Santa had set out.  Addison was still pretty tired when she stumbled out to see what Santa brought.  She loved the Barbies and Barbie Puppy Mobile that Santa brought. Andrew really enjoyed EVEERY train he got.  Andrew just wanted to sit and play with everything he opened.  We had to take a break from opening presents to eat some waffles with Cookie Butter on them and eggs for breakfast. Andrew ended up with lots of Brio trains, swim suit, water shoes, Balance bike and toothbrush.  Addison opened up some Spirit Horses, Barbies and spinny tootbrush and chapstick.

Once the kids were ready for a nap we packed up and went to Nana's house to celebrate Christmas with Nana, Papa, Auntie Hilary, Uncle Jordan, Uncle Tom, Auntie Patti, Stephen, Matthew, Miranda, Uncle Tim, Auntie Cuca, and Grandma and Grandpa.  We missed Uncle Eric and Uncle Kevin! We had some awesome smoked prime rib and ham, with potatoes and green beans.  Everyone enjoyed the company and all the celebration of Jesus's Birthday!
