We're so in love....

Happy Birthday Addison Marie Egge!

On Jan 29, at 4:10am, I woke up to my water breaking.  So, we headed to the hospital to have our baby!  We started pitocin at 5am and I got to sit in a rocker for most of the morning.

By noon(ish) I was ready for the epidural.  I was about 1cm dialated and 80% effaced...ugh.   We had one rambunctious baby the night before my water broke, is this the cause of my water breaking?? We'll never know....

We waited and waited....by 8pm I was 5/6cm dialated....midnight came around...3am 10cm dialated & 100% effaced....waited more for her to get a bit lower & 3:30 I finally got to push. About 4 contractions of pushing, the nurse said to stop pushing because we had to wait for the doctor to get there...HAHA yeah right! The doctor got there at 4am and about 2 contractions later, Addison Marie was born.

All I hear is "Dang that girl has some big feet!"

Weight estimate: 7lbs 4oz with 3 1/2 weeks to go! Wow baby!
