ER visit :(

Poor Addie...spiked a fever of 103 this morning. Had to go to Newport pediatrician who just sent us to the ER since it was Saturday and no labs are open. By the time we were at the ER she had a fever of 104 and just miserable. She had to have her urine taken, blood drawn, lung x rays, and eventually a shot of antibiotics for a uti. Long day of Dr visits from 10:30-6:30. I'm beat, can't even make decent sentences.......Zzzzz

Sawdust Festival

We decided to go check out the Sawdust Festival this morning with Martha and Lucas. Here we are enjoying the waterfalls and good music.

Better baby

Addie's back...feeling more like herself. Her fever broke yesterday morning and she was crabby just at bedtime. She slept better too, instead of waking every hr like the past 3 nights, she only woke up twice. Sweet relief! Teething is going to be real interesting for this lil one!

Update: Looks like she's just teething ....Ears look good, temp down from 101, still crabby, but didn't wake up shivering, wimpering, and shrieking in pain from her nap.  Teething is the pits.

Baby Proofing = Summer Time Clean Out

This weekend my goal was to get the house babyproofed that way we don't have to do it while chasing after Addie.  This of course turned into patching the hole our heater left, building shelfs, cleaning out our spare bedroom, cleaning out maternity clothes, cleaning out the bottom of our closet,  cleaning out the laundry shelves, making a first aid kit... Ya we got about 2 covers on an outlet.  Haha oh well, but Grandma came over while Steven went sailing & Milo and Midnight got summer time buzzes.
