Happy Father's Day 2016

Happy Father's Day to Steven. Addie and Andrew are too young to tell you how good of a father you are to them. Even though you cant braid hair yet, you have become the best Dad.  When Addie wakes up crying because she's afraid of the dark she yells for "Dada" to sooth her back to sleep, you're there. When Andrew has a poopy diaper in the middle of the night you get up and change it. You have wrestle time in the living room with Addie. You play chase at the park,  you teach Addie how to play t-ball, you cuddle before bedtime, you play legos, you take Addie to the home depot activity every month, you read more books at bedtime than Mommy, you do so much and more. We are blessed every day for you.

Happy Father's day to my Dad Kevin. Papa is the greatest. Addie always wants to call you and go to your house and play.  We love you lots and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Happy Father's day to Clif. I've known you for the past 16 years and I thank you for raising Steven and being an example of a great father to him.

Happy Father's day to Daniel, and Erick. It's been beautiful growing up with you and now with your kids.  I would have never guessed that the quiet brother, blaster of heavy metal of Steven would turn out to be such a loving, caring and genuine father. Erick, the guy that LOVES games. I thought you had kids so you could have someone to play video games with, jk. You're so supportive, loving and goofy. We love you both.

Happy Father's day to Nate and all the cousins that were hit hard today loosing him. We are shocked, saddened and in disbelief that we could loose such a great father, brother, cousin, and friend on today of all days. We are blessed to have celebrated with you last night at Beka's graduation party. Were praying for Gina, Henry and the whole family xoxo

Andrew is 1 month!

It's already been 1 month since Andrew has been born! We love him so much! He is now 10lbs 11oz (75%), 22 inches long (85%) and wears a size 13 shoe (haha jk). So far Andrew has been easy. He sleeps most of the day, cries when he's hungry, poopy, wet or has to burp.  This kid is impossible to burp and when he does expect to need a shower! He is also really strong.  He holds his head up for a long time during tummy time and even rolled over three times.  Once at 3 days old, once around 2 weeks and again today in front of the doctor.  Slow down kiddo!! He's got blonde hair/eye brows, two dimples and blue eyes at the moment.

His cephalahematoma has been reobsorbed so his head looks sooo much better!!! He's got a birth mark on the right side of his head.   He just started cooing, smiling at us and grunts instead of crying most of the time.  His irregular sleep has started to become routine"ish" going to bed at 8, waking up at 12, 3 and 6am. The nights haven't been too bad except a few, like when Addie woke up for 2 hrs on top of Andrew's wakings or the night the dogs got sprayed by a skunk trying to eat their food.  So much fun!

Addison adores Andrew, always running to him when he cries, shrieking "baby brodda".  She loves to give him kisses, read with him for nap time, gives him the binky whenever he spits it out and tries sooo hard to be gentle. She has taken on the "big girl" role and raises her hands above her head and says "BIG GIRL!")"  As much as she loves Andrew, she is still adjusting, regressing with potty training and a few extra tantrums. Overall, we are all so  in love, happy he is here and blessed to have two heathy babies.

Butterfly and Bugs

We went to the Butterfly and Bug Fair in Coto de Cara over the weekend.  We saw exactly that: Butterflies and Bugs. There was also cockroaches, bee hives,  snakes,  centipedes, etc. Eeek you could also go on a butterfly garden walk.
