To Santa Cruz we go

From Monterey we headed up the coast to Moss Landing, Santa Cruz and Felton. Moss landing off Jetty Rd is a great place to see a bunch of sea lions and otters lounging around. There were little trails to the vacant beach. The kids had a fun time collecting shells.

We pulled over and ate lunch at the Santa Cruz beach boards walk. Addison and Andrew enjoyed all the photo ops of cut out faces haha

We then headed about 10 min inland to Riaring Camp Railroads where we took an old steam train into old growth Redwood trees. Andrew was super excited and loved it.

Our last stop of the day was Fern River Resort to spend the night. Oh how I love having a kitchen! The kids scootered right outside our windows and even met some 3 & 5 year old friends in the neighbor cabin.  It looks like where they are scootering is actually a wedding venue.
